Louhos - Game Off 2023

Louhos (pronounced as /ˈloʊhos/) is a 2D mining game where you control a miner that tries to reach the bottom of the world. Mine minerals, complete quests, upgrade your tools and manage your energy as you work towards your goal day by day.

This game was created by employees of Avenla Group for the GitHub Game Off 2023 game jam (theme: Scale)

If you find the game interesting, we recommend using the executable for better performance, leaderboards and fewer bugs compared to WebGL.

Edit: Due to a game-breaking bug, a minor hotfix was implemented after the game jam deadline.

Controls

• Movement/Wall Climb: WASD
• Dig/Interact: Left Mouse
• Jump: Space
• Place torches: T or Right Mouse
• Stamina potion: F or Middle Mouse
